Unarmed Security Officer - Hilo, HI

American Guard Services (AGS) is currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers in Hilo, Hawaii . We are seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent service to clients, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle as required.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns.
• Control access to the property and verify authorized entry.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to visitors and staff.
• Complete accurate and timely incident, activity, and daily reports.
• Respond professionally to emergencies and follow site-specific procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Hawaii Guard Card required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a background check.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Security experience is a plus, but not required.
